Cool Desert Nights Car Show

So this was our 5th year in a row going to the Cool Desert Nights Car Show and it was another great year... June 25th 2010

Backyard Damon

We have been working really hard in the backyard and enjoying this nice weather we finally got - Damon has been having so much fun already this summer... he has mastered swinging and loves just to run!

Finally conquering the concrete slab!

So we had this concrete slab that we have been tackling for a while now to remove so we can plant grass - Kami thought it was great to help daddy

Fishing trip June 12th

So we took off for the day with our good buddy Melvin and went down to Rock Creek to do some fishing. The fishing didnt turn out too great until we hit this little spot with tons of baby sun perch in it. But with seeing 11 deer, 3 coyotes, a wild turkey and a turtle we were happy! Craig grilled up a wonderful lunch of bacon cheeseburgers and hotdogs and the weather was beautiful.




We were laughing cause you can see how small the sun perch were when Craig is holding his big catch of the day! hee hee!

mustard weed?!

So before Craig mowed the "mustard weed"? in the field I wanted a picture :) Even though its weeds it made a great background! I wanted to get him to take a family picture in it but Craig just rolled his eyes when I did the kids picture so didnt even attempt to ask... hes not as photogenic as the kids hee hee hee maybe next time

Kamryn says goodbye to 1st grade

So we got back from a week long vacation just in time for Kamryn to go back to her last week of school. She had a great year in 1st grade and loved Miss Lemke. She had wacky day, yellow day, backwords day and sunglass/hat day and was the cutest ever! :) She ended the year with a great report card - we are so proud of our girl!

Safari time!!! So awesome!

We had an awesome time at our stop to see all the animals!!! It was soooooooooo cool! We got to hold baby lions! And Kami got to pet a leopard which totally made her day :)Craig and Damon had a stare down with the llamas and the deer, goats, peacocks, and more just ran freely and the chimp named Charlie was CRAZY and they said he throws poop!
